Ready Rig Camera Stabilizer Vest

The Ready Rig is a camera support vest and arm system designed to offload the weight of a gimbal or handheld camera package from the operator’s arms and shoulders, improving endurance and smoothing movement. In practice, it is used as a body-mounted support platform for stabilized handheld work and gimbal operating rather than as a camera stabilizer by itself.

Ready Rig’s core idea is weight redistribution: the vest and support arms transfer load into the operator’s hips and core so the camera feels lighter and movement is less fatiguing. It can be used with gimbals in standard or underslung mode, and it also works for handheld camera operation when you want support without a full gimbal setup.
