The Sony Rialto 2 Extension System (CBK‑3620XS) separates the VENICE camera body from the sensor block so the imaging head can be placed up to 12 m (39 ft) away, while preserving full image quality and camera functionality.
It is designed for tight spaces, handheld/gimbal work, cranes, jibs, car rigs and other compact or unconventional setups, and it works with VENICE, VENICE 2 6K, and VENICE 2 8K.
Especially useful for:
• Gimbal and handheld VENICE rigs where minimizing front weight and size is critical.
• Car interiors, tight vehicle mounts and custom car rigs where the main body can’t fit in the shot or space.
• Cranes, jibs and Russian arms where the sensor head can be placed closer to the action while the body remains on the arm.
• Underwater and helicopter housings, 3D/VR rigs and other specialized enclosures that can only accommodate the small sensor block.
